Press Start on April: GeForce NOW Brings 10 Games to the Cloud

GeForce NOW, NVIDIA's cloud gaming service, has begun April with a bang, adding ten new games to its library. This month marks the launch of Capcom's highly anticipated PRAGMATA, joining a dozen other titles available for streaming. Among the new arrivals is Arknights: Endfield, which expands the acclaimed series into a full 3D real-time strategy adventure.

Arknights: Endfield, developed by Hypergryph, invites players into a world of tactical planning and sleek sci-fi aesthetics. Set on the perilous planet Talos-II, the game follows a group of pioneers as they uncover lost secrets and battle hostile factions. The title seamlessly merges base-building, exploration, and combat, with every decision impacting survival, progress, and the unfolding mystery of the world. On GeForce NOW, Arknights: Endfield can be played at the highest settings from virtually any device, ensuring crisp visuals and high performance without compromise. GeForce RTX rendering brings the game's metallic skylines and glowing wastelands to life, while ultralow-latency streaming ensures every tactical command lands with precision.

Capcom's PRAGMATA, a first-person shooter with a unique narrative, is also now available on GeForce NOW. The game's story follows a woman named Lily who must navigate a world where memories are currency, and the line between reality and simulation blurs. With stunning visuals and a compelling narrative, PRAGMATA offers a fresh take on the genre.

In addition to these titles, GeForce NOW has added Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, which includes seven games and additional features such as a gallery of illustrations and music. Eleven-year-old Geo Stelar, the protagonist, is a grieving boy who isolates himself after the mysterious disappearance of his parents. The collection brings together the games in the series, offering fans a comprehensive experience.

Other new games available in April include:

- **The Riftbreaker**: A space simulation game where players build and manage their own space empire.

With titles like PRAGMATA, Arknights: Endfield, and Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, April promises to be an exciting month for gamers looking to stream high-quality games on any device.

GeForce NOW's expansion into new genres and titles demonstrates the platform's dedication to offering a robust gaming experience. By leveraging the power of the cloud, players can enjoy games at their highest settings without the need for a powerful local machine. This makes cloud gaming an attractive option for those who want to access top-tier gaming experiences without the financial commitment of upgrading hardware.

As the cloud gaming market continues to grow, GeForce NOW's April updates reinforce its position as a leading provider. With a diverse range of games and a focus on delivering high-quality streaming, the service is well-positioned to attract both casual and hardcore gamers.

In conclusion, GeForce NOW's April lineup, featuring ten new games including PRAGMATA and Arknights: Endfield, showcases the platform's commitment to innovation and variety. By offering a wide range of titles and high-quality streaming, the service continues to set the standard for cloud gaming, providing players with an unparalleled gaming experience.

UI backwards compatibility
UI backwards compatibility
About once a month, an app that I regularly use will change its UI in a way that breaks muscle memory, basically tricking the user into doing things they don’t want. Zulip In recent memory, Zulip (a slack competitor) changed its newline behavior so that ctrl + enter sends a message instead of inserting a new line. After this change, I sent a number of half-baked messages and it seemed like some other people did too. Around the time they made that change, they made another change such that a series of clicks that would cause you to send a private message to someone would instead cause you to send a private message to the alphabetically first person who was online. Most people didn’t notice that this was a change, but when I mentioned that this had happened to me a few times in the past couple weeks, multiple people immediately said that the exact same thing happened to them. Some people also mentioned that the behavior of navigation shortcut keys was changed in a way that could cause people to broadcast a message instead of sending a private message. In both cases, some people blamed themselves and didn’t know why they’d just started making mistakes that caused them to send messages to the wrong place. Doors A while back, I was at Black Seed Bagel, which has a door that looks 75% like a “push” door from both sides when it’s actually a push door from the outside and
