Press Start on April: GeForce NOW Brings 10 Games to the Cloud

GeForce NOW, NVIDIA's cloud gaming service, has begun April with a bang, adding ten new games to its library. This month's lineup is all about delivering fresh gaming experiences to subscribers, with a focus on high-profile titles and expansions of popular series. The highlight of the new releases is the launch of Capcom's highly anticipated PRAGMATA, a game that has been generating buzz for some time.

PRAGMATA, developed by Capcom, is a first-person shooter that combines intense action with a compelling narrative. The game is set in a dystopian future where humanity is on the brink of extinction, and players take on the role of a soldier tasked with uncovering the truth behind a mysterious organization. The game's unique blend of storytelling and gameplay has been praised by critics and gamers alike, making it a must-play for fans of the genre.

In addition to PRAGMATA, GeForce NOW is also introducing Arknights: Endfield, an expansion of the acclaimed Arknights series. This new title takes the popular mobile game and expands it into a full 3D real-time strategy role-playing game. Developed by Hypergryph, Arknights: Endfield invites players to explore the perilous planet Talos-II, where they must build bases, explore the environment, and battle hostile factions. The game's tactical planning and sleek sci-fi aesthetics have been praised for creating a compelling experience that is both visually stunning and challenging.

Another standout addition to GeForce NOW's April lineup is Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, a compilation of seven games from the Mega Man Star Force series, along with additional features such as a gallery of illustrations and music. This collection is a treat for fans of the series, offering a nostalgic journey through the adventures of eleven-year-old Geo Stelar, who must navigate a world filled with mystery and danger.

GeForce NOW's April updates also include a variety of other games, such as the tactical RPG The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, the action-adventure game The Crew 2, and the survival horror game The Forest. These titles offer a diverse range of gaming experiences, from intense shooters to strategic role-playing, ensuring that there is something for every type of gamer.

With these new additions, GeForce NOW is continuing to solidify its position as a leading cloud gaming service. By offering a wide range of high-quality games that can be streamed at high settings from virtually any device, the service is making it easier than ever for gamers to enjoy their favorite titles without the need for expensive hardware. The platform's commitment to delivering top-tier gaming experiences is evident in the quality of the games it adds to its library each month, and April's lineup is no exception.

For gamers looking to dive into the latest releases, GeForce NOW provides a seamless experience that allows them to stream games with ultralow-latency, ensuring that every command is executed with precision. Whether they are exploring the dystopian world of PRAGMATA, battling factions on Talos-II, or reliving the adventures of Mega Man Star Force, gamers can now enjoy these experiences without any compromises in terms of performance or visual quality.

As the month of April gets underway, GeForce NOW is providing gamers with a wealth of new content to explore. With a diverse range of games that cater to different tastes and preferences, the service is making it easier than ever for players to find the perfect title to suit their mood and interests. Whether they are looking for a challenging tactical strategy game, an intense first-person shooter, or a nostalgic journey through a beloved series, GeForce NOW has something for everyone.

UI backwards compatibility
UI backwards compatibility
About once a month, an app that I regularly use will change its UI in a way that breaks muscle memory, basically tricking the user into doing things they don’t want. Zulip In recent memory, Zulip (a slack competitor) changed its newline behavior so that ctrl + enter sends a message instead of inserting a new line. After this change, I sent a number of half-baked messages and it seemed like some other people did too. Around the time they made that change, they made another change such that a series of clicks that would cause you to send a private message to someone would instead cause you to send a private message to the alphabetically first person who was online. Most people didn’t notice that this was a change, but when I mentioned that this had happened to me a few times in the past couple weeks, multiple people immediately said that the exact same thing happened to them. Some people also mentioned that the behavior of navigation shortcut keys was changed in a way that could cause people to broadcast a message instead of sending a private message. In both cases, some people blamed themselves and didn’t know why they’d just started making mistakes that caused them to send messages to the wrong place. Doors A while back, I was at Black Seed Bagel, which has a door that looks 75% like a “push” door from both sides when it’s actually a push door from the outside and
