Champions League: Sportvorstand Eberl: Kane gibt Bayern „gutes Gefühl“

The Champions League is heating up as the FC Bayern Munich squad, including their new signing Harry Kane, arrive in Madrid. The presence of the English striker has brought a wave of excitement and optimism to the team, as evidenced by the positive mood among the players and staff. However, the club's Sportvorstand, Oliver Kahn, has cautioned against complacency, reminding everyone that success in such a high-stakes competition requires vigilance and discipline.

Kane's arrival in Madrid marks a significant turning point for Bayern, as the club looks to reclaim their dominance in European football. The 29-year-old forward, known for his goal-scoring prowess and leadership, is expected to fill the void left by Robert Lewandowski, who departed for Barcelona last summer. The fans and management are eager to see how Kane will integrate into the team and contribute to their quest for glory in the Champions League.

The Sportvorstand, Oliver Kahn, has been vocal about the importance of maintaining focus and avoiding any premature celebrations. He acknowledges that the team's morale has been lifted by Kane's presence, but warns against complacency. "We must be careful not to let the excitement cloud our judgment," Kahn said. "In moments of euphoria, it's easy to overlook potential pitfalls or underestimate our opponents. We need to stay grounded and work hard to ensure we are fully prepared for every challenge that comes our way."

Kane's arrival in Madrid has undeniably boosted the team's confidence. The striker's experience and track record in European competitions, including his two goals in the 2019 UEFA Champions League Final, are seen as valuable assets. However, the Sportvorstand emphasizes that the team's success will depend on more than just individual talent. "We have a strong squad with a mix of experienced players and young talents," Kahn noted. "Our strength lies in our collective effort and ability to adapt to different situations. We must continue to work as a cohesive unit and support each other on and off the pitch."

As Bayern prepares for their upcoming matches in the Champions League, the team is facing a daunting task. The group stage is filled with formidable opponents, and the competition is fiercer than ever. The Sportvorstand acknowledges these challenges but remains confident in the team's ability to rise to the occasion. "We know we have the potential to achieve great things," Kahn said. "But we must remain focused and disciplined. We can't afford any mistakes, and we must be ready to adapt and adjust our strategies as needed. The key will be to maintain our composure and play our best football in every match."

In conclusion, the arrival of Harry Kane in Madrid has brought a sense of optimism and excitement to the FC Bayern Munich squad. However, the club's Sportvorstand, Oliver Kahn, has reminded everyone of the importance of staying focused and avoiding complacency. The team's success in the Champions League will depend on a combination of individual talent, teamwork, and strategic adaptability. As Bayern gears up for their matches, the entire club is eager to see how Kane will contribute to their quest for European dominance, while also heeding the Sportvorstand's warnings about the dangers of overconfidence.

Clojure 1.11.3
Clojure 1.11.3
Clojure 1.11.3 is now available. CLJ-2843 - Reflective calls to Java methods that take primitive long or double now work when passed a narrower boxed number at runtime (Integer, Short, Byte, Float). Previously, these methods were not matched during reflection and an error was thrown. Java 21 added an overload to the method Thread/sleep in the 1-arity. When upgrading to Java 21, existing Clojure calls to Thread/sleep become reflective, but continue to work. As usual, you can detect reflection with *warn-on-reflection* and address with a type hint (here, ^long ) to choose the desired overload. Previously, passing a Short or Integer value to a reflective call like Thread/sleep that takes a long would not match, that has been corrected.
