Osmania University in Hyderabad has launched a 4-week summer internship program focused on 3D printing and its applications across various engineering fields, starting from May 11. This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Centre for Product Design, Development and Additive Manufacturing (CPDDAM), a specialized 3D printing facility established at the university.
The internship program is designed for undergraduate and postgraduate engineering and technology students, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of 3D printing. The program is open to students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in technical fields such as mechanical engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), civil engineering, architecture, biomedical engineering, and electrical engineering.
The four-week internship will be conducted in a hybrid mode, combining online and in-person learning to cater to the diverse needs of participants.
