Among the platform's offerings, one series stood out as a major hit: "Your Friends & Neighbors," a drama starring Jon Hamm. The show's first season, which premiered in 2023, garnered critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base, making it one of Apple TV's most successful launches.

"Your Friends & Neighbors" is set in a suburban community where the lives of several families intertwine, each with their own secrets and complexities. The series explores themes of friendship, trust, and the hidden realities behind seemingly perfect lives. Jon Hamm delivers a powerful performance as one of the central characters, a man whose seemingly idyllic existence masks a turbulent past. The show's unique blend of drama, intrigue, and character-driven storytelling resonated with viewers, leading to its widespread popularity.

The success of "Your Friends & Neighbors" is a testament to Apple TV's commitment to producing high-quality, original content. In recent years, the streaming service has invested heavily in developing its slate of shows, aiming to compete with industry giants like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. The first season of "Your Friends & Neighbors" was one of the standout examples of this strategy, showcasing the platform's potential to deliver compelling stories that captivate audiences.

Today, "Your Friends & Neighbors" returns for its second season, promising even more twists and revelations as the characters navigate the complexities of their relationships and the challenges they face. Fans have been eagerly anticipating the premiere, eager to discover what lies ahead for their favorite characters. The show's creators have teased that the new season will delve deeper into the interconnected lives of the community, revealing new secrets and confrontations that will test the bonds between friends and neighbors.

The return of "Your Friends & Neighbors" is not only a significant event for Apple TV but also a reminder of the platform's growing influence in the television industry. With a strong lineup of original shows, Apple TV has begun to establish itself as a formidable player in the world of streaming. The success of "Your Friends & Neighbors" highlights the potential for Apple TV to produce content that not only entertains but also captures the attention and loyalty of viewers.

As "Your Friends & Neighbors" embarks on its second season, fans and critics alike are eager to see how the show will evolve and maintain its initial success. The platform's ability to deliver compelling, character-driven narratives like this one is a key factor in its growing appeal. With "Your Friends & Neighbors" leading the charge, Apple TV is poised to continue making waves in the world of original programming.

In conclusion, the return of "Your Friends & Neighbors" for its second season is a major event for Apple TV and its audience. The show's first season was a breakout hit, showcasing the platform's potential to produce high-quality, engaging content. As the characters of the suburban community face new challenges and reveal hidden truths, "Your Friends & Neighbors" is set to maintain its status as one of Apple TV's most successful series. UI backwards compatibility
UI backwards compatibility
About once a month, an app that I regularly use will change its UI in a way that breaks muscle memory, basically tricking the user into doing things they don’t want. Zulip In recent memory, Zulip (a slack competitor) changed its newline behavior so that ctrl + enter sends a message instead of inserting a new line. After this change, I sent a number of half-baked messages and it seemed like some other people did too. Around the time they made that change, they made another change such that a series of clicks that would cause you to send a private message to someone would instead cause you to send a private message to the alphabetically first person who was online. Most people didn’t notice that this was a change, but when I mentioned that this had happened to me a few times in the past couple weeks, multiple people immediately said that the exact same thing happened to them. Some people also mentioned that the behavior of navigation shortcut keys was changed in a way that could cause people to broadcast a message instead of sending a private message. In both cases, some people blamed themselves and didn’t know why they’d just started making mistakes that caused them to send messages to the wrong place.
