Amazon is blowing out Greenworks battery-powered yard tools during its annual spring sale

As spring finally arrives, it's time to tackle yard work and prepare for the warmer months ahead. For those looking to upgrade their outdoor equipment, Amazon's annual spring sale is offering some of the best deals on Greenworks battery-powered tools. Greenworks, known for offering equipment that competes with gas-powered alternatives, is seeing its products sold at some of the lowest prices of the year as part of Amazon's Big Spring Sale. This makes it an ideal time for both first-time adopters of battery power and those looking to expand their existing toolsets.

One of the standout deals is the Greenworks 48V 21-inch self-propelled mower, trimmer, and blower kit, now priced at $449 (previously $579). This comprehensive package includes three essential tools for maintaining a well-groomed lawn throughout the season. The self-propelled mower, a 12-inch trimmer, and a blower are all included, along with three batteries to ensure continuous operation without the need for frequent charging. The 21-inch brushless deck is well-suited for average suburban lots, and the 48V dual-voltage system is compatible with over 200 Greenworks tools, allowing for easy expansion of the tool ecosystem in the future.

For those with larger yards or those seeking more powerful equipment, the Greenworks 60V 25-inch self-propelled lawn mower is available for $599 (previously $749). The self-propelled feature significantly speeds up the lawn care process, making it a valuable addition for those with bigger properties. The wide 25-inch deck ensures efficient coverage of larger areas, while the 60V system provides a balance of cutting power and affordability, sitting between the lighter 48V and heavier 80V options.

Another popular tool on sale is the Greenworks 3000 PSI electric pressure washer, now priced at $399 (previously $499). This high-PSI washer is perfect for cleaning outdoor surfaces such as patios, driveways, and siding. The electric design offers a convenient and eco-friendly alternative to gas-powered models, making it an excellent choice for homeowners looking to maintain their outdoor spaces with ease.

In conclusion, Amazon's spring sale presents an excellent opportunity for those in need of new or additional battery-powered yard tools. With Greenworks offering some of its most popular products at significantly discounted prices, now is the perfect time to invest in quality equipment for your outdoor needs. Whether you're setting up a complete toolkit or simply upgrading a single piece of equipment, these deals are not to be missed. As spring unfolds and yard work becomes a priority, these discounts provide a convenient and cost-effective way to ensure your lawn and outdoor spaces are well-maintained.

A simple way to get more value from metrics
A simple way to get more value from metrics
We spent one day 1 building a system that immediately found a mid 7 figure optimization (which ended up shipping). In the first year, we shipped mid 8 figures per year worth of cost savings as a result. The key feature this system introduces is the ability to query metrics data across all hosts and all services and over any period of time (since inception), so we've called it LongTermMetrics (LTM) internally since I like boring, descriptive, names. This got started when I was looking for a starter project that would both help me understand the Twitter infra stack and also have some easily quantifiable value. Andy Wilcox suggested looking at JVM survivor space utilization for some large services. If you're not familiar with what survivor space is, you can think of it as a configurable, fixed-size buffer, in the JVM (at least if you use the GC algorithm that's default at Twitter). At the time, if you looked at a random large services, you'd usually find that either: The buffer was too small, resulting in poor performance, sometimes catastrophically poor when under high load. The buffer was too large, resulting in wasted memory, i.e., wasted money. But instead of looking at random services, there's no fundamental reason that we shouldn't be able to query all services and get a list of which services have room for improvement in their configuration, sorted by performance degradation or cost savings. And if we write that query for JVM survivor space, this also

Context Engineering for Coding Agents
Context Engineering for Coding Agents
The number of options we have to configure and enrich a coding agent’s context has exploded over the past few months. Claude Code is leading the charge with innovations in this space, but other coding assistants are quickly following suit. Powerful context engineering is becoming a huge part of the developer experience of these tools. Birgitta Böckeler explains the current state of context configuration features, using Claude Code as an example. moreтАж

What does less protein and nitrogen mean for methane?
Does feeding less protein to cows over a longer period not only reduce nitrogen losses, but also affect methane emissions?
